Join Kristine Keagan to jump start your weekend with a little Saturday morning vinyasa flow yoga.
Greet your day with a flow that warms you up, and moves you though a combination of sun salutations, standing poses, balancing postures, seated and reclining poses, backbends, and core work. You will be guided in and out of postures safely with correct alignment for poses and how to connect these poses to your breath. You’ll strengthen and lengthen your muscles before taking it back down to the mat. This class will send you out into the rest of your day and weekend invigorated.

There are over 25 muscles between your shoulders & hips! Having a strong core helps eliminate back pain. Your core is your stabilizer, it helps with balance, posture and just over all better movement.
In this 60 minute class we will build strength and find that deep inner core, your power!
We will flow to warm up, then slow down to deeply stretch and lengthen muscles, strengthen your core then land blissfully in savasana.
As we all know, over time our bodies change and adapt to accommodate how they move
through the physical world. Often, repetitive physical patterns result in some undesirable
limitations caused by joint systems augmenting and muscle groups overcompensating or under
Core/Yin fusion is a practice designed to explore the connection of the body’s center line and
the relationship that integrity carries into musculoskeletal and joint systems so that we can
recognize and counteract the impact of repetitive motion strain. By spending time at the
beginning of class in a short sequence of core stabilization poses fused with breath and deep
abdominal muscle conditioning, our bodies are better able to understand the experience of
softening into a more classically led Yin based practice that intentionally reaches deep into the
connective tissues resulting in a reconditioning of fascia, ligaments and tendons. It’s like a drink
if water for your joints.
Any physical pursuit will eventually leave its imprint in your body, unfortunately these imprints
can show up as a restricted range of motion, shortening of the musculature and loss of
flexibility. Whether you’re a runner, walker, biker, swimmer, play hockey, or are constantly on
your feet or sitting as part of your career, Core/Yin fusion can help reduce the effect of repetitive
motion stress and nurture the development of flexibility in areas that tend to succumb to
tightness. Through time, this practice can help to lengthen muscles, open up the joint systems
and foster the improvement of core stabilization for healthy physical alignment, and mind/body
awareness in any activity.

What a great way to wrap up your weekend and start your week fresh. Come explore a Yin Yoga Class designed to help you create a little more space in in your body! Holding poses for 3-5 minutes you’ll exercise your connective tissues (fascia), joints, and ligaments, encouraging more space and length.
All levels welcome!
Appropriate for all levels! Extensive use of props and modifications makes this class accessible to everyone from the brand new beginner to an experienced yogi.
Begin or continue your exploration into the Yin-side of your body and mind in this weekly class. Train yourself to become comfortable in stillness, a wonderful antidote to the 21st century life-on-the-go. Simultaneously, unravel the layers of tension and restriction that have taken up residence in your fascia, tendons, and ligaments.
Each class will include all or most of these components:
- Seated meditation and breathwork
- Physical postures from the yin yoga tradition
- Optional interludes of yang-style movement
- One or more restorative postures to end the class
A sense of curiosity is the only pre-requisite for this class. I hope you’ll join me and the growing number of people that have discovered increased freedom of movement and decreased pain as a result of a regular Yin Yoga practice.

Start the class with a breathing practice to ground and link your body and mind, then move into a gentle flow, to open and create space within your body. You will then be prepared to land in the stillness of holding postures and encouraging a quiet mind. Stillness helps to deepen your awareness to what truly lies within your body, your mind and your emotions. Come explore and create a little more space in your life!

It’s not so mystical as it sounds, anyone can do it!

Join Andrea for a gentle take it to the mat, Yin Yoga practice that may include some easy “non Yin” movement. Slow down your pace and get into your body. By holding poses in a relaxed state you’ll exercise the non-elastic tissues in your body. In other words your joints, ligaments and fascia. Using modifications and blocks for proper alignment and safety, you will gain a deeper sense of connection to your body.
Yin Yoga helps to:
- Calm and balance to the mind and body.
- Regulate energy in the body.
- Increase mobility in the body, especially the joints and hips.
- Lower stress levels (no one needs that)
- Encourages greater stamina.
- Enhances lubrication and protection of joints.
This class is appropriate for all levels.
